Jan. 28Th, Wed...This one's out of order. Sorry. This is about as exciting as our day went. I had to go to the bank to cash some checks. Jan. 30Th, Fri...This is my favorite places to walk. I still hadn't taken the pic for the day. When I got there I saw this elderly couple walking and knew I had my photo! I ended up passing them. I looked back and they were holding hands. They kept at a steady pace. Probably how they've lived their lives and stayed married this long. One day maybe someone will take our photo like this.

Jan. 29Th, Thurs...We went bird watching at a nearby lake. It's man made. Not too many people know about it, so the birds are pretty wild. We brought popcorn for the ducks...they all flew away. So, my little ducks ate it on the way home!

Jan 27Th, Tues...I held a RAK on my scrapping site. This is how I picked the winners! Pretty tech savvy, eh!

Jan. 26Th, Mon...Grocery Shopping day! I go grocery shopping every other Mon. So when I go our cart is always full! I was able to stay pretty under the budget too!! Which is always a good thing!

Jan. 24, Sat...This one's for my new friend Brenda S. Yes, it's two McDonald's! You are looking at the new McD's going up. Next to it is the old one. Not everyday you see two McD's next to each other! Brenda, I'll let you know when it's done!! Maybe we can meet there! LOL! Jan. 23, Fri...My SIL sent us these yummy peppermint bark! It went super fast!

Jan. 22, Thurs...The kids and I took apart a radio. We got it all together. It didn't work because the batteries had corroded in it. But it was great fun. Oh, it was birthday too!

21/365...Wed. Jan. 21...This ball has been sitting in various places in our front yard for a few weeks. Every time I look out the window, I think the would make a cool photo. So, this morning, in my PJ's I bathroom, went out and took it! The neighbors probably think I'm weird, but I don't mind!

I liked the way it looked in black & white too!

19/365...Tues., Jan....We have two BIG picture boards at church that show pictures of our events, etc. Every three months I redo them. Here I am. It is usually a two day project. One day (a few hours) going through, editing, printing the pictures. One day to put it all together. I finished the boards at 9:00pm.

Jan. 19th, Mon...DH 40th birhtday! This picture was like the fourth attempt at taking a picture of him blowing out his candle. He kept blowing it out right before I snapped teh shot! We were all busting up!!
He and DS, with a few people from church went Wild Boar hunting during the day. They didn't get anything, but spied out the land for other hunts.
DD & I went shopping (Christmas/birthday $). She was unsuccessful. I found a couple of things.
For DH's birthday meal we had Mexicali Meatloaf...one of his mother's favorites! And leftover Buttermilk pie.

Okay...I am a bit mad! I just realized that DS must have deleted the photo I took on Sunday! He was reading the Sunday Funnies. He didn't want his photo taken.
Jan. 17th, Sat...we are all in a play at church...One Last Chance. DS & I are behind the scenes. Dh is the bartender & DD is a person in the mall. Here is a glimpse of the goings on before...the setting up for practice.

Here's Wed. Jan 14th...C got her space maintainer out!!! She's had it in for what seems like two years. I so wanted to take a photo of the spacer sitting on the clean silver tray on the white paper with the instruments around it. But my pride got the better of me. The Dr. even asked C if she wanted to take the spacer...no, gross. (That would've made for a good photo! LOL) So now she can chew gum, eat carmels, etc. Friday, Jan. 16th...C's Birthday!! These are two of the three buttermilk pies C & I made. We had youth bible study then her party. There were about 20 teens, of whom 5 were girls. We had a good time.

Thursday, Jan. 15th...Here's what "rockers" really look like! Heehee! We had band practice, in the church nursery! We practiced acoustic. Usually we are amped up!

Today is our DD's spiritual Birthday!! One year! We got our truck back today. Yeah!

I missed yesterday! Have you seen it? This photo is probably on someone's worst dressed list somewhere! LOL! If I would've taken one of my hair then I would've made it for sure!

Anyway, the kids & I went for another bike ride, PE. This is how I looked!

Jan. 9th Why an egg? And is that cookie dough again? Yes, it's cookies. I love to bake. I like to bake when I'm stressed out. Our truck was in the shop and supposed to be fixed yesterday. DH drove it home. But that was it. We have a new clutch, but can't get it into gear!! He had to get it towed again to the shop. Thank God for friends with gas guzzling trucks!! There are some other things on my mind as well. Things I can only pray about! Now get to the egg you say! I made the cookie dough (sugar & spice)...no eggs. The kids went next door for an egg. The girl gave us two! In return we gave her fresh cookies out of the oven! Yum! Jan. 8th I was too busy to post yesterday's. Here's the story on this one. The kids and I had a busy day. DH got off work, came & picked me up so we could get the truck from the mechanics. He then had to go to a wake for a coworker. There wasn't much time for dinner. So we went to KFC.

Love his face? He took one of me too, but I have control of the blog! mwahhh!

The kids and I rode our bikes to the library today. I wanted to get a picture of the wheels. When I got home and loaded the pics onto our computer I noticed that I got the kids going into the library! Haha!!

Ok, I actually have two for you! The whole family seems to want to get into this! The first one was taken by my DH. He served up some Neapolitan ice cream tonight. This is how you would get it served if you went to an Italian restaurant in Boston. You should have seen us last night. We were holding the container and trying to "scoop" out the slices. He actually ended up cutting the carton in half! If you look closely, you'll see the heart in the strawberry section! Here is my attempt at today's photo! I had these big plans of a cool shot of DS on his scooter. Just the feet, the evening sun shining down, etc....here's what I got. Poor kids are tired of me taking their photos!

Jan. 5th

Can you tell what it is?? I was sitting at the kitchen table, teaching the kids when I looked up at the mirror and saw the mistletoe still hanging up. All of the other Christmas items have been put away. Its seems like I tend to leave the mistletoe out just a bit longer then all of the others!

Jan. 4th

I am trying eat less sugary food and starchy food (I can't turn down choc. chip cookie dough see previous post!), and more fruit & vegies. I was going to eat the oranges right from the can, but figured that wouldn't make for a nice photo! LOL! I don't care for oranges, but mandarin oranges in a can, yum!

365 Project

I am staring a new project this year. I know a lot of people are doing this. We're supposed to take a photo everyday for the whole year. I missed Jan. 1st.
Here's Jan 3rd. C & I made Chocolate Chip cookie with pecans! Yum. You'll notice a spoon for her and a spoon for me! The batter is the best part!

Here's Jan. 2ND. Dh is cleaning out his shed and we took some photos of some items he is selling on an online Yard Sale Site. He's actually off, selling one right now!
